SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Switchfly, Inc., the technology company powering travel booking and loyalty redemption solutions for the world’s most celebrated brands, today announced the appointment of Graham Blankenbaker as Chief Technology Officer. Most recently, Blankenbaker served as division CTO at TIBCO Software, where he led product strategy, technical direction and engineering for the Cloud Applications group at the company. At Switchfly, Blankenbaker will be responsible for streamlining global engineering and support, while focusing on products and go-to-market strategies.
“It is with great excitement that we welcome Graham to our Switchfly team,” said Daniel Farrar, CEO, Switchfly. “Graham’s experience in leading successful product strategy and technical direction will be a great advantage to continuing the expansion of our business.”
Blankenbaker brings over 15 years of experience in product strategy, technical direction, application and infrastructure development, quality assurance and integration across companies including: TIBCO Software, Loyalty Lab, Six Apart and United BioSource Corporation. Blankenbaker has held leadership roles with several start-ups at the outset of his career, covering a broad variety of disciplines that included financial services, real estate marketing and healthcare.
“Switchfly is, in a sense, a central nervous system for the travel industry. When you consider the fragmentation of today’s travel industry landscape, you will understand why it’s an ideal time to be joining the company,” said Graham Blankenbaker. “This is a company that is unmatched in its broad range of connectivity assets for travel booking and loyalty redemption solutions and I look forward to building off the organic growth the company has had to date to further expand the brand’s success.”
Blankenbaker holds a B.S. in computer science from McGill University.
