PerfectServe 4.0 Hits the App Store

Updated mobile application features new, more user-friendly interface to allow faster and easier communication among clinicians

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--()--Today, PerfectServe – healthcare’s only comprehensive and secure communications platform – announced an update to its mobile application to enhance security, add new capabilities, and improve overall functionality. PerfectServe allows clinicians in any care setting across the care continuum to connect inside and outside of their healthcare organization using a single, workflow-responsive, unified communications platform in a HIPAA-compliant environment. PerfectServe Version 4.0 is available to current customers for download through either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

“We’ve always advocated for healthcare organizations to take a holistic approach to securing all clinical communication,” said Terry Edwards, CEO, PerfectServe. “Through our recently formed strategic customer advisory panel and doubled research and development efforts, we’re continuing to evolve our solutions to meet this need, learning from our customers and supporting them in their desire to encourage effective and efficient communication between clinicians so that they can provide the highest quality patient care possible.”

PerfectServe Version 4.0 updates include:

  • New Capabilities – Users may now add multiple attachments (e.g., photos of multiple angles of a wound) up to a total file size of 3MB in a single message. Sharing images can reduce any false diagnosis resulting from inaccurate interpretations of a verbal or written explanation, and improves care coordination. Users may also create and name customized groups for messages sent to multiple contacts for improved organization.
  • Refreshed Look – In addition to a new home screen icon and splash screen, the app will display functions in a list format to improve efficiency. Also, three functions will be renamed for clarification: "DocLink" will become "Contacts," "Call Patients" will become "Secure Calls" and "Patients" will become "Patient Assignments."
  • Improved Navigation – The update allows gesture navigation, enabling users to simply swipe to navigate from screen to screen.
  • Performance Enhancements – As with every release, PerfectServe improved the speed and functionality of the app.
