Physicians Realty Trust Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Shares

MILWAUKEE, Wis.--()--Physicians Realty Trust (NYSE:DOC) (“the Company”), a self-managed healthcare real estate company, announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 9,500,000 common shares of beneficial interest at a public offering price per share of $14.00, for net proceeds of approximately $126.3 million after deducting the underwriting discount and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company. All of the common shares are being offered by the Company and will trade on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “DOC.”

The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,425,000 common shares. The offering is expected to close on September 12, 2014.

The Company will contribute the net proceeds of this offering to its operating partnership in exchange for common units in its operating partnership. The Company’s operating partnership intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay borrowings under the Company’s senior secured revolving credit facility, to purchase common units in its operating partnership on or about October 1, 2014 and for general corporate and working capital purposes, funding possible future acquisitions and development activities.
