AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MileStone Community Builders, LLC, top new homes Austin Builder, today announced its participation in Community First! Village, a 27-acre master planned community that is a program of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a social outreach ministry based in Austin.
Community First! Village will provide permanent, affordable and sustainable housing and caring support for disabled chronically homeless individuals. A groundbreaking and blessing event will be held August 27, 2014 to introduce the community to this innovative concept. “After nearly 10 years of dreaming, we’re finally breaking ground on this innovative development that will bring much relief to our homeless brothers and sisters in Austin,” says Alan Graham, President and CEO of Mobile Loaves & Fishes.
The initial phase of Community First! will include 225 homes ranging from canvas-sided cottages to micro-houses and 5th-wheel RVs. MileStone Community Builders, in conjunction with The Topfer Family Foundation, will be helping to build a medical treatment facility within the community.
