IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--University of California, Irvine School of Law has hired six new faculty members, bringing the total number of full-time professors to 45. These new faculty members are all highly accomplished academic leaders in their areas of expertise.
UCI Law has also added to its clinical program by launching an Intellectual Property, Arts, and Technology Clinic, directed by Assistant Clinical Professor of Law Jack Lerner, enhancing its experiential learning and scholarship to students in wide-ranging IP and technology matters, including patent and copyright.
Additionally, UCI Law has started three new centers: Center on Africa and the Law (Director Olufunmilayo Arewa), Center for Biotechnology and Global Health Policy (Director Michele Goodwin) and Center on International, Transnational and Comparative Law (Director Gregory Shaffer).
