SANTA CLARA, Calif.--()--Citrix® announced today that it will become a business partner of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority and the San Francisco 49ers, supporting Levi’s® Stadium as part of a 10-year agreement. The partnership includes Citrix branding of the Owners Club level of suites as the “Citrix Owners Club.” The 49ers and Levi’s® Stadium have also invested in Citrix mobility solutions and cloud services that will enable mobile workspace collaboration and productivity across Levi’s® Stadium and during day-to-day team operations.

While the stadium will benefit from the use of Citrix technology, the partnership will provide Citrix with a location that will act as an extension of the company’s executive briefing center, located directly across the street from Levi’s® Stadium at the company’s Silicon Valley headquarters. The Citrix executive briefing center offers a shared experience between customers and Citrix executives. Citrix will utilize its own suite in the Citrix Owners Club, which includes a separate meeting boardroom, to augment the company’s executive briefing center. This meeting space will allow for a collaborative approach that includes customized agendas and technical deep-dives, coupled with interactive demonstrations that showcase Citrix mobile workspace technology. Located within the Citrix Owners Club, which includes 22 suites and accommodates more than 400 people, guests of Citrix will be able to enjoy an atmosphere that was designed to reflect a high-end Napa winery and houses the many original works of art that make up the Levi’s® Stadium Art Collection.

“As we strive to find innovative ways to connect with our fans and customers, mobile workspace technology from Citrix will allow us to do just that,” said Jed York, CEO, San Francisco 49ers. “Partnering with a locally-based technology leader like Citrix aligns perfectly with the Levi’s® Stadium vision of showcasing all that is special about the Bay Area.”

Levi’s® Stadium is one of the most technologically and environmentally advanced buildings in all of sports and entertainment. Citrix ShareFile® will be utilized by 49ers and Levi’s® Stadium employees for fast, easy and secure sharing of files, photos, and videos. Citrix GoToMeeting®, GoToWebinar®, GoToTraining® and OpenVoice™ audio conferencing will be used by the front office, players and coaches from around the country for communications.

“We are excited to be partnering with the new Levi’s Stadium team and the San Francisco 49ers and their adoption of Citrix mobility solutions,” said David Henshall, COO and CFO, Citrix. “We host thousands of customers each year from businesses worldwide at our Silicon Valley executive briefing center, which is located across the street from Levi’s® Stadium. The close proximity of the stadium makes this an invaluable resource for Citrix, and offers our customers an extraordinary experience that is key to building and expanding our relationships.”
