RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Preferred Sands, a North American leading proppant technology and manufacturing company, today announced plans to open an additional Northern White sand plant, which will expand its Northern White frac sand production capabilities by more than four billion pounds annually.
A market leader for high quality silica sand proppant products, Preferred Sands currently produces more than three billion pounds of Northern White frac sand annually. The new plant, which is anticipated to open in 2015, will bring the company’s total Northern White production capacity to more than seven billion pounds annually.
