Cambridge Continues to Expand Retirement Center Offerings

FAIRFIELD, Iowa--()--Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) announces two recent additions to the already robust Cambridge Retirement Center offerings. Cambridge is intent on offering tools to support rep-advisors operating in the retirement space and new partnerships with Castle Rock Innovations and Edu(k)ate will allow Cambridge to continue to offering flexibility to independent financial advisors.

A partnership with Castle Rock Innovations offers the Axis Retirement Analytics PlatformTM (AXIS) to Cambridge’s independent rep-advisors and will help equip advisors with data aggregation, 408(b)(2), and benchmarking while providing a transparent method to provide the required disclosures. The Department of Labor proposed a 408(b)(2) disclosure guide and AXIS will support the transparent disclosure of retirement plan fees, compensation, and services provided to plan fiduciaries.

“After careful research and consideration, we have chosen AXIS to support our current efforts in streamlining our independent advisor’s experience with servicing retirement plans,” said Colleen Bell, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Strategies. “In an industry that is becoming increasingly more complicated, Cambridge is providing advisors with user-friendly interface to view their retirement plan data and create custom disclosures.”

In addition to partnering with Castle Rock Innovations, Cambridge has partnered with Edu(k)ate, an advisor platform that creates a social eco-system for retirement plans using gamification techniques. The new fee-transparency environment has increased the visibility of retirement plans and the integral role advisors play in preparing participants for retirement and other savings goals. Cambridge is dedicated to providing resources to advisors, so they in turn can equip their clients with the tools and knowledge to become financially secure.

“Edu(k)ate is a unique offering since it allows our advisors to deliver targeted communication and education to participants on a on a more frequent basis than the typical annual education program,” said Bell. “The platform allows our advisors to manage and engage with retirement plan participants, deliver both core and custom educational content, and track their results and progress.”
