Prudential New Jersey Properties Joins Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Real Estate Brokerage Network

Regional brokerage leader to operate as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties

SOMERSET, N.J.--()--Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, the real estate brokerage network operated by HSF Affiliates LLC, today announced that Prudential New Jersey Properties has joined the network operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties. The regional brokerage leader adds to a growing roster of affiliates that have transitioned to the network since September. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices now counts more than 29,000 agents and 825 offices in 42 states.

“We are pleased to make this transition to the brand we believe is reinventing real estate,” said Bill Keleher, the brokerage’s Chairman and CEO. “Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is about innovation, outstanding service and unparalleled results. We take great pride in our new affiliation and we look forward to the significant advantages it will bring to our clients and agents.”

General Manager Chris Brown said the brand will add even more distinction to New Jersey Properties, a company recognized nationally for sales production and customer care. “Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ namesake is Berkshire Hathaway Inc., one of the world’s most trusted and respected corporations,” he explained. “We have experienced a heightened interest among seasoned and top-producing agents throughout our marketplace who want to join our team because they are drawn to the brand and want that affiliation for their business.”

New Jersey Properties agents gain access to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Global Network Platform – a robust suite of real estate tools and resources – plus professional education, business consultation, marketing support and the exclusive Luxury Collection program for high-end listings. “The BHHS franchise offering positions us to create a highly competitive value proposition for our agents, focused on business-building and career development,” said Chief Operating Officer Steve Janett. “We are confident our new network will facilitate opportunities for our company’s growth throughout the New Jersey marketplace and in turn enhance our ability to deliver seamless support to our agents.”

As part of its transition, New Jersey Properties moved its Montclair office from Church Street to a new location at 695 Bloomfield Ave., one block from the Montclair Art Museum. This “office of the future” blends new technologies with an open and contemporary style, plus an art gallery to showcase the works of professional and emerging artists. Landscape artist Catherine Kinkade, a master pastelist, will help launch the gallery with a show of oils and plein air studies in pastel and pen and ink starting June 23.

Stephen Phillips, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, applauded New Jersey Properties’ brand transition. “We are proud to welcome Bill Keleher, Chris Brown, Steve Janett and their skilled team to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices,” he said. “New Jersey Properties sets high standards for professionalism, customer care and corporate citizenship and will be a fine brand ambassador.”

New Jersey Properties’ new Cabernet and Cream yard signs will begin appearing throughout northern and central New Jersey starting today.
