BASEL, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The private aviation leader, NetJets Europe, has today announced its partnership with Art Basel 2014. NetJets has joined the esteemed modern and contemporary art event for 11 consecutive years. The preview will begin today and run through until 18 June, with the main exhibition open from 19 until 22 June.
Marine Eugene-Beveridge, Head of Sales at NetJets Europe, comments: “Our events calendar is designed for our customers, focusing on their interests. With many of them art collectors, we are delighted to be working together again with Art Basel this year, a successful and natural partnership.”
In its 45th year, Art Basel 2014 brings over 300 principal galleries from around the world together under one roof to showcase a unique collection of sculptures, installations, paintings, drawings, photographs and editioned works from well-known and emerging artists. In keeping with previous years, NetJets Europe will host customers and VIPs in its bespoke lounge, serving coffee by the renowned and venerable Gambrinus team who travel from Naples each year especially for the private jet company’s guests – an addition that has proven most popular. As one of the leading trader of fine and rare wines, and distributing to over 65 countries worldwide, ARVI will be providing the wine for the lounge and a gift for each departing NetJets flight from the event.
“The tailored service that our customers receive at such events has been greatly appreciated and continues to be popular with our clientele. We have over 100 flights booked for this year’s event, which is in-keeping with last year. With a standard 24-hours booking notice for NetJets Europe customers, we expect the volume to increase slightly,” Mrs Eugene-Beveridge concludes. “We look forward to this year’s kick-off event as part of the Art Basel series globally throughout the year.”
