The new direct all-water service between Cleveland and Antwerp is a welcome addition to the service lines for AT&F’s European customers. Service direct from Cleveland is four days faster than from U.S. East Coast ports, and at a lower cost.

Access to direct ocean shipping allows us to deliver easily what once took special trucking and rail to deliver to East and West Coast ports prior to loading for overseas deliveries,” stated Michael Forde Ripich, AT&F’s president.
The Cleveland-Europe Express (www.portofcleveland.com) is the first and only regularly scheduled international container and break bulk service (80 Ton) on the Great Lakes per the Port of Cleveland. “This is a big deal for our big capabilities,” Ripich concluded.
