SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chungdahm Learning (CDL) (KOSDAQ:096240), an education company, and Bilimkana Foundation, a private institute in the Republic of Kyrgyz, have signed an MOU worth 5 million USD with the purpose of building SMART classes and implementing CDL’s education solution (classroom management solution).
The agreement includes digital textbook development and the first exportation of a smart class solution licensing. This is important because it positions CDL as an education solutions provider.
Beginning in September, for 6 months, CDL will run a program in Bishkek for 70 6th and 7th grade students in 3 classes at 3 Bilimkana schools and will utilize tablets in a smart class environment. The subject used will be English.
Upon completion of the pilot, CDL, for 3 years until 2017, will expand its solution to 92 schools and 10,000 students in Bilimkana. The program will include all other subjects, including English.
Also, CDL will aggressively seek to enter Eastern European countries that utilize Russian as its first language.

Kyrgyz, which borders Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, as well as China and often referred to as the “Swiss of Central Asia”, is a developing country which economy has been growing partly due to Korean business expansion and government support.
