Canyon Gate, an Associa company, will host complimentary board and realtor events on Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, April 10 at 12 p.m. as part of its commitment to education and knowledge sharing to better serve its clients. |

| Wednesday’s seminar will discuss recent changes to New Mexico law that impacts community associations across the state and provide insights for homeowners in helping shape public policy as it relates to homeowners associations. The event will be led by Associa’s Senior Vice President of External Affairs, Andrew Fortin, who has worked as an advocate for homeowners association for close to a decade. The presentation will cover the New Mexico Homeowners Association Act passed in 2013 and what it means for boards and management companies. The program will also address how board members can be actively engaged in the legislative process to ensure laws passed benefit all members of the community. | ||
