AURELIUS Acquires T-Systems Subsidiary Individual Desktop Solutions GmbH

MUNICH--()--The Munich AURELIUS Group (ISIN DE000A0JK2A8) today announces the acquisition of T-Systems subsidiary, Individual Desktop Solutions GmbH (IDS), which it will integrate with its ICT subsidiary, Getronics.

IDS focuses on Onsite Desktop Services and Solutions for prestigious end-users of T-Systems International in Germany and includes 630 employees at 36 locations throughout Germany. With 2013 revenues of approximately EUR 80 million, IDS has a strong customer base across key industry sectors, including several DAX companies as well as public institutions.

The services provided by IDS remain an important part of the portfolio of T-Systems International and will continue to be offered to T-Systems customers via a strategic partnership with the AURELIUS subsidiary Getronics.

In addition to the increase in sales of the Desktop Solutions business, IDS will be further developed towards higher-value and higher-margin services. IDS will also benefit from Getronics’ expertise in cloud services as well as its heritage in workspace solutions, as businesses continue to introduce virtual and flexible working environments.

The purchase price was not disclosed and the transaction is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities and is to be completed by mid-2014.
