LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DivX LLC, a leading provider of next-generation digital video solutions, today announced the launch of a complete, end-to-end solution to enable over-the-top (OTT) providers to create and deliver high-quality, highly efficient HEVC 4K video for protected playback on multiple devices. The company will be demonstrating all elements of the DivX® HEVC ecosystem at the 2014 NAB show in Las Vegas from April 7-10.
The DivX end-to-end HEVC solution is designed to accelerate the adoption of the latest compression standard across video distribution workflows. For content preparation and creation, DivX’s MainConcept® HEVC SDK adds support for real-time DivX HEVC 1080p software encoding, streamlining the integration of HEVC into video applications and OTT delivery. DivX also offers a number of solutions to drive multi-screen playback of HEVC 4K content, including the DivX Video Service™ and DivX DRM, which has been approved by Hollywood studios and DECE for Ultraviolet. The company also released a new DivX HEVC SDK for IC and OEM devices to support protected streaming and file-based playback of HEVC content.
