Media Alert: See the Nation’s Brightest Young Scientific Innovators in Action at the Intel Science Talent Search

--()--A new approach to the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s, a model that can predict the likelihood of mortgage delinquency, and the development of new drug candidates that could potentially help in treating the common flu. These are just a few examples of the research currently being developed by 40 high school seniors who are poised to be the nation’s next scientific innovators. They’ll be in Washington, D.C. from March 6-12 to compete for more than $630,000 in the Intel Science Talent Search, a program of Society for Science & the Public.

WHAT:

Media are invited to attend the Intel Science Talent Search public exhibition of projects where they’ll be able to get a sense of what the country’s future leading scientists, researchers and engineers look like. Finalists will be available for interviews and photos as they display, describe and answer questions about their notable research.

WHEN & WHERE:

Public Exhibition of Projects:

Sunday, March 9, 1-4 p.m. ET
