CARROLLTON, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Greenway® is rapidly moving electronic health record (EHR) patient information into the next phase of data liquidity, leveraging fluid, accessible patient information to drive dramatic improvements in clinical, financial and administrative outcomes and prepare for new value-based reimbursement models.
Greenway’s leadership in the field of interoperability will be evident in the company’s booth 2503 at HIMSS14 in Orlando this week, as well as in other interoperability demonstrations throughout the annual conference and exhibition such as CommonWell booth 1389 and the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase.
Efficiently Tying Solutions Together
In its HIMSS booth, Greenway will demonstrate secure Direct messages successfully exchanged between its three EHR-based solutions — PrimeSUITE®, Intergy™ and SuccessEHS — utilizing the power of Greenway’s PrimeEXCHANGE® hub-and-spoke interoperability solution. These messages are one of the means a provider can use to attest for meaningful use Stage 2 requirements for electronic transitions of care and referrals.
Greenway’s next step in interoperability is to utilize PrimeEXCHANGE to connect the data from customers using its PrimeSUITE, Intergy and SuccessEHS solutions, enabling customers to remain on their current platforms and leverage existing investments while being prepared for taking advantage of future innovations.
PrimeEXCHANGE is already being used to seamlessly connect Greenway customers to more than 1,000 different vendors, from external labs to payers and more.
“The health IT industry has made great strides in EHR interoperability, and Greenway continues to work with vendors throughout the industry to enable efficient data exchange among providers’ EHRs of choice,” stated Greenway® CEO Tee Green. “We’re also poised to deliver value to our customers beyond EHR-to-EHR interoperability, extending information exchange to the systems used by providers, payers and patients alike to drive clinical decision-making, financial management and consumer engagement.
“Leveraged properly, electronic patient information will serve as the key to better care coordination and improved population health, simultaneously strengthening our customers’ financial bottom lines while helping them deliver the most effective care possible to the populations they serve,” Green continued.
Gaining Value from the Data that Drives Healthcare
“The steps we’re taking now are just the beginning of a sustained effort to gain maximum value from the data that drives healthcare,” said Matt Hawkins, Greenway president. “Our innovation will help transform care delivery to achieve improved clinical, financial, administrative and satisfaction outcomes, even as the megatrends of electronification, healthcare consumerism and improving population health continue to accelerate. It’s the way Greenway is helping its customers achieve the connectivity and the value from data they need to succeed.”
