COBB, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lake County Partners, LLC announced today that Golden Leaf Pictures (“GLP”) and Creative Differences will produce a new reality show, Extreme Resort Makeover at Hoberg’s Resort and Spa in Northern California. This historic resort, once an exquisite 53-acre mountain top property in Lake County California, was founded in 1885 as a lodge with a few cottages, and grew to be one of the largest privately owned resorts in California. GLP’s multi-episode TV Program will chronicle the transformation of Hoberg’s (which has fallen into disrepair from previous ownership) back to its prime. At its peak in the 1950s, Hoberg’s hosted more than 1,000 guests a night. Golden Leaf Pictures is a film and television production company in San Jose, CA. Gerald T. Olson previously served as Production Executive at HBO and Vice President of Production at New Line Cinema. Producer credits include House Party, Dumb and Dumber, and Nightmare on Elm Street 3.
Creative Differences’ Dave Harding won an International Documentary Association award with Werner Herzog and others in 2012 for On Death Row. He has Executive Produced The Time Warp series for Discovery Channel and was Executive Producer of Werner Herzog’s famous documentary, Cave of Forgotten Dreams.
GLP has attached Frank Hagan Jr. as a field producer for Extreme Resort Makeover. An Emmy-nominated producer with over 25 years of experience, Frank Hagan Jr. has worked on nationally syndicated shows such as Phil Donahue and Oprah Winfrey. He was nominated for an Emmy for his producing work on Donahue.
