ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The SPECTRUM Group (TSG) is pleased to announce that retired Air Force Major General Mark R. Zamzow has joined our firm. General Zamzow’s impressive background in both the public and private sector makes him a valuable addition to TSG.

General Zamzow’s focus at TSG is to assist clients in projects related to airlift, aerial refueling, training, and mobility operations. His background consists of a military career which spanned 34 years of active service in the United States Air Force culminating in his retirement in July of 2012. During his military career he served on a variety of staffs ranging from the Air Staff, two major command staffs, and five joint task force (JTF) headquarters staffs or component staffs. A command pilot with over 3,400 flying hours, General Zamzow commanded a flying squadron, operations group, airlift wing, air mobility wing, and air component and has vast experience in the coalition and joint arenas. General Zamzow retired following a three year tour at Royal Air Force Mildenhall representing U.S. European Command as the U.S. Country Representative to the United Kingdom while simultaneously serving as Vice Commander of Third Air Force and, for his final two months in uniform, as Commander, U.S. Air Forces Africa.
