Millicom International Cellular: Millicom Completes Issue of 10-Year Bond for Guatemala

LEUDELANGE, Sweden--()--Millicom (NASDAQ:MICC) (STO:MIC), the leading international telecommunications and media company (Stockholmsbörsen: MIC), announced today that its subsidiary in Guatemala, Comcel, has successfully borrowed $800m through the issuance of a new US dollar denominated bond.

The 10 year bond was issued below par at 98.233 and will yield a coupon of 6,875%. Proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and for general corporate purposes.
