Texas-based Managed Communications Firm Awarded Cloud Services Contract by Department of Information Resources in Competitive Bid Process

AUSTIN, Texas--()--DoubleHorn Communications, an award-winning provider of managed business communications, hosted IT and cloud services, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to deliver three service areas to state organizations: Cloud Assessment Services, Cloud Brokerage Services and Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

DoubleHorn participated in the highly competitive bidding process where its history of successful service delivery, customer references and case studies, and company viability were all evaluated. DoubleHorn's contract enables the company to deliver the following Cloud Services:

Cloud Assessment Services

Cloud Assessment Services focus on planning, migration and on-going operations of Cloud deployments. Cloud Assessment Services include gathering requirements, taking an inventory of the existing IT portfolio and developing the cloud migration blueprint.

Cloud Brokerage Services

DoubleHorn serves as the source and aggregator for six providers: Rackspace, Terremark, Savvis, Amazon, IBM, and Google Cloud; delivering services on a single bill and providing a single service level agreement. DoubleHorn offers Managed, Private and Public Cloud Services as well as Technical Support Services.

Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
