IPG Hires Dr. Kevin Smith as Chief Medical Officer

Recognized Health Plan executive hired to support rapid expansion of company’s comprehensive Device Benefit Management program

Dr. Smith brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience ranging from private practice, entrepreneurial healthcare companies and commercial health plans. He joins IPG from United Healthcare (UHC) where he recently served as Chief Medical Officer for the Community and State line of business serving Medicare and Dual eligible members.

He earned his medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine and received his MBA from Stanford University.
