Albuquerque local Loren Klein will be traveling to Australia as part of the trip he received as a winner, or “DTourist”, of DoubleTree by Hilton’s DTour of a Lifetime competition—a search for six people ready for the adventures of a lifetime. |

In May 2013, DoubleTree by Hilton launched DTour (http://www.doubletree.com/dtour), an interactive YouTube channel created in collaboration with Google, which offers travelers a whole new way to plan and share their trips. With the launch of DTour came the first custom, user-generated contest held on YouTube by a hotel brand, the DTour of a Lifetime competition. |

| Each winner received a travel assignment to one of six continents where DoubleTree by Hilton properties are located to experience DoubleTree by Hilton hospitality, meet locals and curate their own travel tips and stories for DTour. Each ambassador will hit the road for weeks at a time, based on the travel assignment. Loren is the fourth DTourist to embark on his adventure. | ||||

Starting in Sydney, Loren will journey between DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties to experience the people, cultures and local fare of Australia’s major cities. He’ll be surfing the Gold Coast, cuddling Koalas, riding camels in the outback, experiencing one of the oldest Aboriginal cultures in the world, feeding crocodiles and much more, all the while publishing daily anecdotes, photos and videos on DTour, his social media channels (@lorenklein & https://www.facebook.com/lorencolonklein) and his personal blog, It’s Really Happening (http://kristenandloren.com/). |
