SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bartech, a leader in global workforce management solutions, today announced that James (Jim) Hanrahan, has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO).
Hanrahan will be responsible for Bartech’s financial functions as well as overseeing Information Systems (IS), Legal and Human Resource (HR) administrative functions. Additionally, Hanrahan will play a key role in helping to develop strategy and drive the firm’s execution, alignment and accountabilities as Bartech continues to create value for its clients. Hanrahan will report to Bartech’s president and chief executive officer, David Barfield.

Most recently, Hanrahan served as executive vice president and general manager for a division of Philadelphia-based, CDI Corporation and brings more than 20 years of professional services experience, including 10 years of talent management and staffing industry experience as well as eight years as CFO. Hanrahan started his professional career as an engineer for UOP Process Division of Allied Signal/Honeywell. Later he held financial and operating roles at technical staffing, engineering and manufacturing businesses. He has significant experience in strategic planning, financial/operational analysis and business development initiatives, including executing and integrating acquisitions. Hanrahan’s international experience includes setting up operations and servicing clients in Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia Pacific region.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration, Finance/Marketing degree from the University of Chicago.
