Husqvarna AB: Husqvarna Group Appoints new Head of Asia/Pacific

Pavel Hajman has been appointed Executive Vice President, Head of business unit Asia/Pacific and will become member of Husqvarna Group Management (STO:HUSQB).

Pavel Hajman has over 20 years of international business experience within several different areas including sales, marketing, logistics and manufacturing.

Most recently, Pavel comes from Assa Abloy, a world leader in locks, doors, and door opening solutions, where he has been heading operations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Previous experiences include numerous managerial roles within Seco Tools.

Pavel holds a Master of Science degree, Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping Institute of Technology, Sweden.

“Pavel Hajman has solid and broad management experience including having worked with both Central & Eastern European and Asia/Pacific regions, as well as mergers and acquisitions. I am confident he will be a strong addition to our team,” says Kai Wärn, President and CEO of Husqvarna Group.

The former head of Asia/Pacific, Nicolas Lanus, left on December 31, 2013, for a position outside the Group. Brian Belanger, VP Legal Affairs Asia/Pacific, is acting on the position until Pavel Hajman starts, latest June 1, 2014.
