ZPE Systems Pioneers Software Defined Infrastructure Access & Control Solution

Led by well-known industry experts, innovative infrastructure management company unveils breakthrough access & control solution

FREMONT, Calif.--()--ZPE Systems, the industry-first provider of Software Defined Infrastructure Access & Control solution, today emerged from stealth mode and unveiled its Infrastructure Management technology for delivering on-demand anytime, anywhere access to infrastructure. Founded by Arnaldo Zimmermann, President & CEO, and Livio Ceci, Vice President of Engineering, ZPE Systems is focused on delivering Infrastructure Access and Control on complex, multi-vendor physical and virtual Server, Storage and Network Infrastructures. The company’s NodeGrid Platform allows organizations of all sizes to deliver rapid zero-day infrastructure configuration, access and management of these systems.

“I’ve been in the data center industry for about 20 years,” said Gaylen Brown, Sr. Data Center Project Manager at Google. “In that time, I’ve spent a majority of my time managing large & small Data Center and IT Projects. The diverse background gave me an appreciation for the immense challenges that exist in managing IT infrastructure. Virtualization and High Density make it even harder to operate and manage the infrastructure from Day Zero Provisioning to providing access and control over the infrastructure. I was very pleased to learn that this long term problem is being addressed by ZPE Systems taking a multivendor software centric approach.”

The ZPE Systems Promise:

ZPE Systems founding team brings extensive experience in solving deeply complex IT challenges with high expertise in data center, virtualization and software development. They are:

Arnaldo has led many of the product initiatives that led the market. Arnaldo delivered the first Linux based break safe console server, put IPMI inside servers, architected service processor and power appliances and led enterprise software development in the DCIM market.
Prior to founding ZPE Systems, Arnaldo was the Director of Engineering at Emerson Network Power where his team was responsible for DCIM applications encompassing the management of all aspects of Data Center Infrastructure and prior to that held senior product development roles at Avocent and Cyclades Corporation developing award winning access and control products.
  • Livio Ceci - Founder and VP of Engineering. Livio brings over 16 years of experience in design and development of innovative solutions for Data Center management. Most recently as Sr. Technical Manager at Emerson Network Power, Livio led development teams in the Bay Area and abroad on both Hardware and Software DCIM products.

“ZPE Systems’ Software Defined Infrastructure Management and Access solution delivers on the promise of managing the entire infrastructure in a virtualized fashion. It is designed to be utilized for Data Centers, IT Rooms, Engineering LABs, Remote Infrastructures,” said Arnaldo Zimmermann, CEO of ZPE Systems. “We are confident that our solution will help customers rapidly provision and manage their infrastructures.”

The ZPE Systems Solution

The breakthrough ZPE Systems NodeGrid platform simplifies and automates the zero day deployment, configuration, access and control of Server, Network and Storage Infrastructure. In addition, NodeGrid provides an easy and uniform access to managed devices via MKS, Serial Console or thru Serial over LAN. Customers benefit using the innovative power control and power management features of this technology. By providing a completely virtual offering with NodeGrid, customers save additional costs compared to traditional hardware centric expense KVM over IP or IPMI Management solutions. With features as auto-discovery, normalized interfaces, seed based profiles and ability to centralize access to systems using enterprise LDAP or AD, NodeGrid provides a comprehensive ROI in CAPEX and OPEX savings.
