Mark N. Dajani, Senior VP and CIO – Mondelēz International Joins Board of Directors at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management

A talented IT executive and proven business leader, Mark N. Dajani offers valuable technology expertise to LFGSM’s business-leader Board, where he will serve on the Board’s Research, Development & Innovation Committee.

LAKE FOREST, Ill.--()--Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark N. Dajani to its Board of Directors. Dajani is Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business Services, and Chief Information Officer at Mondelēz International, a global snacking company with 2012 revenue of $35 billion, operating in 165 countries. Elected to the Board in September 2013, Dajani will serve on the Board’s Research, Development & Innovation Committee.

Appointed to his current position as Senior VP and CIO upon the launch of Mondelēz International in October 2012 following the spinoffof Kraft Foods’ North American grocery business, Dajani is responsible for the company's business process excellence leadership, enterprise shared services and information systems and technology. Dajani joined Kraft Foods in 2004 as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, where he led his team to develop and implement a global framework for organizing technology at the company, including technical roadmaps covering collaboration, connectivity, application development and middleware, business intelligence, data management and end user computing. He was named Vice President, Account Management in December 2006, appointed Senior Vice President, Information Systems in April 2007, and Senior Vice President and CIO in April 2009.

Prior to joining Kraft Foods, Dajani spent 13 years at Altria, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Application Development & Maintenance for Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance; Chief Technology Officer; and Director, Global Technology, Altria Corporate Services, Inc. He began his career constructing and managing manufacturing facilities for Frito Lay, Inc. and the Perrier Group of America.

Mr. Dajani serves on the board of the Lake Forest Club, as Treasurer of his condominium association in Colorado, as a volunteer at Lake Forest Days, and is active with JDRF. He holds a BS (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from Averett University.
