LOS ANGELES--()--Paul Frank is pleased to announce its 2nd annual Paul Frank Art Supplies Round-Up, which launched yesterday at the P.S. ARTS “Express Yourself” event. The Paul Frank Arts program continues its commitment to inspire creativity in kids of all ages through non-profit partnerships and national drives to provide art supplies to schools and after-school art programs.

“For the second year in a row, Paul Frank is thrilled to support a cause that is close to our hearts,” said Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands. “The Paul Frank brand was built upon creativity and the arts, so we couldn’t be happier to be a part of spreading the love of art through our Art Supplies Round-Up.”

In partnership with Blick Art Materials, the round-up program encourages Paul Frank fans to donate new and gently used art supplies to local children’s art non-profits. Blick and Utretch stores across the nation have placed donation bins near their registers in support of the round-up, with purchased donations supported by a special 20% discount at all retail locations. Each store will also be working with a local children’s art non-profit to distribute donations throughout their local community during the donation period of Nov. 17–Dec. 31. In addition, online donations can be made to The Dreaming Zebra Foundation through Blick’s Art Room Aid online arts donation portal and will be distributed to children’s art programs in 15 different states.

Paul Frank will also be promoting the Art Supplies Round-Up through a Facebook campaign. For every domestic ‘like’ received during the campaign, Paul Frank will donate to Dreaming Zebra and P.S. ARTS. Paul Frank partners, Zak! and Yes Anime, have also contributed to the program by providing art supplies to support the 2013 round-up.

Paul Frank has launched a new contest in conjunction with the program. Fans can enter the Paul Frank Art Supplies Round-Up sweepstakes at PaulFrankArts.org for a chance to win a trip for two to a Paul Frank celebrity event in 2014! In addition, everyone who donates via Blick’s Art Room Aid site will automatically be entered to win!

The 2nd Paul Frank Art Supplies Round-Up officially launched yesterday, November 17, at the P.S. ARTS annual “Express Yourself” event in Los Angeles. The event brought together local leaders, influencers and their kids for an afternoon of art related activities. The Paul Frank activation featured customizable Julius vinyl figurines, provided by Yes Anime, for guests to design using art supplies donated by Blick and partnering vendors, Liquitex and Letraset. Celebrity parents including Jason Bateman, Lisa Kudrow and Adam Scott also stopped by the Paul Frank booth to join in on the artistic fun and show their support at the launch of the 2nd annual art supplies round-up!
