Harfenist as a Managing Director in the Houston office. In this role, Mr. Harfenist who has 25 years of forensic accounting experience managing high-profile investigations, including numerous matters in the energy and natural resources sector, will provide multinational clients with a range of anti-corruption, fraud investigation and compliance services.

Mr. Harfenist has conducted fraud-related investigations across numerous industry sectors on matters involving alleged FCPA violations, embezzlement, kickbacks, Ponzi schemes, diversion of assets, corruption and financial reporting fraud. Providing cost-effective risk mitigation services, Mr. Harfenist conducts risk assessments and provides education to organizations on deterring, detecting and preventing fraud. He is well-versed in matters involving voluminous data and the use of forensic technology to identify fraud and prevent risk.
Mr. Harfenist is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and his Masters of Business Administration in Accounting from Rice University.
