Houlihan Lokey Expands Chemicals Coverage with New Hires

Industry Veteran Leland Harrs Joins as a Managing Director; James Holmes Joins as a Vice President

NEW YORK--()--Houlihan Lokey, the international investment bank, today announced that Leland Harrs has joined the firm’s Industrials Group as a Managing Director and Head of Chemicals coverage. He is based in New York.

Mr. Harrs joins from C&Co/PrinceRidge where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Corporate Finance group, leading that firm’s chemicals investment banking team. Previously, Mr. Harrs was a Managing Director in the Industrials group at KeyBanc Capital Markets and also served as Head of the Chemicals group at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London. He began his investment banking career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1991.

In addition, James Holmes has joined the Industrials Group as a Vice President, also focusing on the chemicals sector and based in New York. Mr. Holmes also joins from C&Co/PrinceRidge where he was a Vice President working on advisory and financing mandates across several sectors. Prior to C&Co/PrinceRidge, he was an Analyst in the Industrials Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets.

Mr. Harrs holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. Mr. Holmes holds a B.A. in Economics and German from DePauw University.
