TOLCIDE® 4FRAC delivers enhanced compatibility with polymer-based stimulation fluids and greater efficacy against acid-producing bacteria (APBs) even at low pH. Biocides — also known as antimicrobials, pesticides or algaecides — are chemical agents used in gas and oil production to combat Microbially Influenced Corrosion, protect the integrity of pipelines and equipment, and maintain human and environmental health and safety.
TOLCIDE® 4FRAC is an add-on to your stimulation fluid that provides fast kill of bacteria and long-term protection when producing from a reservoir.
Whether you batch mix or pump on the fly, TOLCIDE® 4FRAC can be used in with slick water job, gelled or hybrid fracturing fluid.
TOLCIDE® 4FRAC offers improved compatibility with
- Polyacrylamide based friction reducer additives,
- Native or derivatized guar based gelling agents,
- Fully or partially cross-linked with borate, zirconate, titanate gelled fluids
- Low or high pH fluid
