Giuliana Vural of Vural Law Firm to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter October 2013 Luncheon Meeting in Dallas

DALLAS--()--Giuliana Vural, Member of Vural Law Firm PLLC in Fort Worth, Texas, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the Dallas Petroleum Club, 2200 Ross Avenue. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m.

Vural, whose practice focuses on title opinions, including base, drilling and division order title opinions, will discuss “Pooling and the Impact of Horizontal Drilling and Unpooled Leases.” Her presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Ms. Vural’s extensive background in oil and gas law will provide an in-depth look into the myriad of challenges related to pooling in our industry. Before starting her own firm in 2011, Vural was a founding co-member at Judd, Vural & Jacks P.L.L.C., a firm specializing in oil and gas title opinions. Ms. Vural has also held positions as Adjunct Professor at the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now the A&M University School of Law) in Fort Worth, Consulting Attorney at Morris, Laing, Evans, Brock & Kennedy, Chtd. in Wichita, Kansas and Vice President at Washington Energy Exploration Inc. in Seattle, Washington (serving as in-house counsel for an exploration and production company).

Vural received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland and went on to earn her law degree from Seattle University School of Law where she was a member of the International Law Society.
