Curalate Introduces Fanreel to Bring User-Generated Content to Brand and Retailer Sites

Fanreel Delivers Increased Engagement and Revenue for Brands by Letting Consumers Post Images of their Favorite Products in Action

PHILADELPHIA--()--Curalate, the leading visual analytics and marketing platform, today announces Fanreel, a new product that enables retailers and brands to increase engagement and revenue by incorporating user-generated images into their ecommerce sites and product pages. With Fanreel, brands can display real people engaging with their products in the real world, simultaneously celebrating their loyal customers and increasing sales, as consumers are more likely to buy products embraced by their peers.

Fanreel launch partners include Urban Outfitters, Rebecca Minkoff, Under Armour, Beauty.com and The Dessy Group. Fanreel beta partner The Dessy Group has already seen engagement rates of over 30 percent with the Fanreel image gallery.

“Our photo sharing platform #uoonyou has shown us the power of images to inspire and engage our customers, and we are pleased to extend this effort by integrating user-generated content into our site,” says Moira Gregonis, Senior Marketing Manager, Urban Outfitters. “By enabling our customers to contribute photos of their favorite Urban Outfitters products, Fanreel celebrates their dedication and includes them in the process, while also providing us with images we can use to more effectively market and merchandise our offerings. It is truly a win-win.”

With Fanreel, consumer images can be easily submitted from Facebook, Instagram, mobile phones, and the desktop. Brands are able to moderate these photos and automatically associate user-generated photos to product pages on the brand’s ecommerce site, driving users further down the purchase funnel. Brands can also use Fanreel to grow their email lists and reward fans with special offers for submitting photos to the brand. Fanreels are mobile and desktop optimized and can be customized to mirror the look and feel of a brand’s site.

Fanreel provides detailed analytics, helping brands understand the impact of integrating user-generated content into their sites. Fanreel analytics are integrated into the Curalate dashboard and include page views, impressions, interactions, interaction duration and number of photos submitted, among others.

“Images are a powerful and immediate way to form connections with consumers,” said Apu Gupta, CEO of Curalate. “With the launch of Fanreel, Curalate now has the most complete visual marketing solution available, giving brands the ability to market with both brand and user generated images.”
