HAMILTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--An influx of new domestic and international customers coupled with strong demand for upgrades from existing customers using its voice solutions were key drivers to FY 2013 success for Voxware. The company today outlined highlights for the year ending in June 2013, which included the expansion of its global partner network, its introduction of the industry’s first cloud-based solution, additional revenue and customers from new markets, and the appointment of key executives.
Voxware, which provides flexible, hands-free voice solutions that enable employees to safely and accurately speed through tasks, realized 22% growth in FY 2013 compared to the previous year and 34% growth in its fourth quarter as compared to the same period last year. This marks the company’s 5th consecutive quarter of growth due in part to the availability of the industry's first cloud-based voice solution. The Voxware Cloud Voice Management Suite (VMS) provides companies of any size an eminently scalable solution to enhance operational productivity, improve accuracy and better serve its customers without investing in costly IT infrastructure.
Voxware also tripled the amount of new customers in 2013 as compared to 2012, including many well-known brands with global distribution requirements. The company attributes much of this success to the availability of its SaaS-based model and the expansion of its partner program, which realized double-digit gains in system sales. The company upgraded a number of existing customers, many of which were attracted by new functionality and Voxware’s flexible SaaS-based offering. In fact, 84% of the company’s new customers are taking advantage of this model to reach their business objectives.
“The quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year growth we’re experiencing is a strong validation of our vision, strategic direction, and organizational optimization,” said Keith Phillips, President and CEO, Voxware. “We will continue to rely heavily on insights gathered from our customers and partners as we expand our market position, enter new channels and geographies, and raise awareness of the inherent benefits of our voice solutions. Our promise of utilizing voice technology to enhance brand loyalty and to improve operations is resonating in the marketplace.”
A sample of Voxware’s new customers include: BFP Wholesale, Buffalo Rock, Hollywood Feed, Jarden Home Brands, Landmark Group, Monterrey Provision Company, Mt. Pleasant Ice Cream Company, Sabritas, Wagner SprayTech and WWRD comprised of top brands such as Wedgwood, Waterford, and Royal Doulton.
With the upcoming availability of new and upgraded products and contributions from its global partner program, Voxware anticipates continued strong growth. To support these initiatives in FY 2014, the company has bolstered its ranks by enlisting industry veterans such as Bob Andrews as Vice President, Americas Sales, Dominic Lanaway as Managing Director, UK and EMEA, and Steve Byrd as Vice President, Strategic Partners and Alliances.
