TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ISA Co., Ltd. today announces to launch the sales of "Keiko-4GX", the latest model of its network monitoring and alerting devices. “Keiko-4GX” has received high praise from the market as auxiliary equipment for monitoring network operations since its debut in 1999. ISA will also seek reseller channels for "Keiko-4GX" in the U.S.
Keiko-4GX independently monitors IT equipment using ping or SNMP traps. Once a problem is detected, Keiko-4GX immediately alerts network operators and system administrators via buzzer, flashing light, e-mail, and pre-recorded voice messages. In addition, Keiko-4GX can interact with many network monitoring software programs, allowing you to start addressing problems at an earlier stage.
With many types of IT equipment installed, offices, server rooms, and data centers provide a variety of services. Operations monitor to prevent these services from being stopped. However, information about equipment problems has become more complicated as network speed has become faster. Customers can install Keiko-4GX easily to environments configured with advanced IT equipment. Keiko-4GX delivers faster problem resolution by instantaneously detecting network problems and sending appropriate messages to system administrator.
"Since its debut in 1999, Keiko has been used in many places where system administration is required, such as data centers in Japan. It has contributed to reduce business risk caused by network failure," says Yoshihiro Mitazaki, CEO of ISA. "Having received more inquiries about Keiko from outside Japan due to increased data center consolidation and centralized management, we’ve decided to look for business partners in the U.S."
"Keiko-4GX" can support up to giga-bit networks, and allows you to monitor and operate more diversified and complex systems based on the following 5Ss:
