LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The official FC Barcelona Soccer Camps, USA, announced today locations and dates for its 2013 summer camps. They include San Jose and Los Angeles, New York, NY, San Antonio, Portland and Seattle. The week-long Official FC Barcelona Camp provides youth soccer players and coaches in the United States with the opportunity to learn the training methods for its youth teams, which consist of a series of progressive exercises related to each stage or level of education.
Prior to each week-long youth camp, local coaches of all levels are able to attend Sunday day-long clinics conducted by FC Barcelona coaches.
Additionally, FC Barcelona Soccer Camps announced that a minimum of 2 players per camp will be selected by FCB coaches to participate in the 2014 Easter FCB Escola tournament in Barcelona. Those selected will have the opportunity to compete against boys and girls of the La Masia in Barcelona. This opportunity has only been available to the La Masia players in Barcelona. Last summer, Barcelona coaches recognized that many of the U.S. youth players participating in its U.S. soccer camps possessed superior soccer abilities, and subsequently started inviting some of them to Barcelona to participate in the tournament.
