BELMONT, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Savoir Media LLC, a Boston-based strategic communications firm, is pleased to announce that it has won two prestigious awards within the public relations industry: a Publicity Club of New England Gold Bell Ringer Award and a Gold Bulldog Reporter Award for Excellence in Media and Publicity Campaigns.
Both awards recognized the effectiveness of the public relations campaign that Savoir Media conducted on behalf of Boston-based investment firm Allied Minds. Savoir Media received the Bell Ringer Award for the Product/Service Publicity: Business to Business Campaign category during a gala held at the Boston Marriott Copley on June 10th. The Bell Ringer Awards, also known as "The Bells," recognize excellence in communications and public relations work in every field and industry, across all forms of media. They honor the communications and PR professionals who leverage unique and creative strategies, tactics and tools to achieve meaningful results for their clients.
Savoir Media has also received a Gold Bulldog Award for the Best Campaign under $50,000 category. Winners were chosen exclusively by working journalists from hundreds of entries representing the very best strategic and tactical prowess that PR/corporate communications has to offer. Campaigns were judged by a team of working journalists, who assessed the campaigns on their ability to achieve extraordinary visibility and influence opinion, as well as their creativity, command of media and technology, and tenacity.
“We are grateful to the judges at both the Bulldog Reporter and the Publicity Club of New England for understanding and rewarding our unique team approach and the hard work we put into our campaigns to achieve this high standard,” said Christine Dunn, founder and President of Savoir Media.
The campaign that Savoir Media executed for Allied Minds announced a series of groundbreaking partnership agreements that the investment company formed with The Aerospace Corp., US RDECOM and NSWC Crane, three of the largest research centers and laboratories funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. The agreements aim to create the first institutionalized approach to commercializing inventions developed within federal labs.
These first-of-its-kind Public-Private partnerships allow Allied Minds to research the commercial viability of inventions available for public access, and to invest capital to build companies around them.
“We would like to thank Chris Silva, CEO of Allied Minds, for trusting us with his firm’s incredible story,” said Ella Delio, Executive Vice President at Savoir Media. “By working closely with the Allied Minds teams, we were able to craft a compelling story about how these historic partnerships will create a new system for commercializing federal inventions that will, in turn, develop new opportunities for technology, innovation and jobs.”
