EnerNex Awarded Government-Wide GSA Contract To Provide Energy Consulting To Federal Agencies

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--()--EnerNex, LLC, an electric power engineering and consulting firm, announced today it has been awarded a five-year General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contract. This widely used government contract allows federal agencies to secure EnerNex’s energy consulting services at pre-negotiated rates, terms, and conditions.

The company’s GSA Facilities Maintenance and Management Schedule 03FAC Contract, Number GS-21F-104AA, is valid through March 28, 2018 and allows for three five-year extension options. EnerNex is approved by the General Services Administration to provide services under Special Item Numbers (SINs) 871-209, Innovations in Renewable Energy, and 871-211, Energy Consulting Services.

EnerNex is now one of approximately 100 companies nationwide that provide energy consulting and renewable energy support through the GSA Schedule Contract vehicle. “We have worked extensively with the Department of Energy who spent over $300 million through the GSA Schedules program last fiscal year,” explained EnerNex CEO Jeffrey Lamoree. “Given our expertise in the energy industry, and the strong push within the federal government to explore sustainable solutions, we felt it important to secure a government-wide contract vehicle that would facilitate the procurement process for our buyers.”

EnerNex received their GSA Schedule Contract just two months after submission of their proposal for GSA’s review. GSA conducts a thorough evaluation of past performance, financials, and pricing among other review factors. EnerNex’s GSA Schedule Contract award is a testament to the company’s capabilities and customer satisfaction.
