Target Launches Beauty Concierge Program in Los Angeles and Orange County in May

In-store Beauty Expert to Offer Personalized Service to Guests

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Building off its “Expect More. Pay Less.” brand promise, Target is pleased to announce that it will introduce its Beauty Concierge program to 96 existing stores in Los Angeles and Orange County area on May 24, 2013.

Participating stores will be staffed with a Target Beauty Concierge, a highly-trained, brand agnostic beauty enthusiast who is available to answer guests’ questions in-store. Serving as a trusted expert, the Beauty Concierge provides guests with personalized, detailed and unbiased information about beauty and personal care products offered at Target and acts as a knowledgeable source of advice in what can sometimes be an intimidating department. Beauty Concierges will be located in the beauty aisle at Target wearing a distinct black apron. No appointment is necessary.

Target makes specialty beauty accessible and affordable through its broad array of brand collections. Guests can find cosmetics, hair care and skin care from exclusive brands such as Sonia Kashuk and Petra Strand, natural brands like Burt’s Bees and national brand favorites.
