  AQMD’s community workshop presenting information about Sacramento’s Emergency Clean Air Transportation (SECAT) program. Releasing approximately $3.5 million for new applications in 2013, funding of up to $60,000 per new truck is available for owners of 1998-2006 models.

Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District staff will go over the new incentive program guidelines and the application process.
 

Why:

The Sacramento Emergency Clean Air Transportation (SECAT) program will grant millions of dollars to California truck fleets and owner operations this year. Applicants will now have the option to use fuel consumptions instead of miles or hours. Update to include all heavy duty vehicles with 1998-2006 engines only while implementing new funding caps for 2010 and newer engines only. Come see how you can receive state money towards upgrading your equipment and off-set the cost of impending regulations.
