CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chicago Equity Partners, LLC has hired Paul M. LaCoursiere as Managing Director and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. In this role, LaCoursiere will focus on investment strategy and risk management for the firm’s suite of fixed income products. LaCoursiere has significant industry experience and previously held Portfolio Manager and Senior Strategist positions at Munder Capital Management, Barclays Global Investors, and Aviva Investors. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and MBA from the University of Chicago. LaCoursiere also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Chicago Equity Partners is also pleased to announce that Michael J. Budd has been promoted to Managing Director. Budd is a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager specializing in the mortgage, asset-backed, and agency sectors. He is a founding member of the Fixed Income team and is responsible for developing the investment process in use today.
