ARLINGTON, Va.--()--BAE Systems will feature products and capabilities that offer affordable, innovative solutions at the Navy League’s Sea-Air-Space Exposition, April 8-10 at the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md.

During the exposition, BAE Systems and U.S. Navy officials will jointly brief the media on the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS™) technology’s successful demonstration of anti-ship capabilities over water, and the product’s recent success in Afghanistan. The briefing will be held at the BAE Systems exhibit (booth #2137) in Meeting Room 1 on Tuesday, April 9, at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

Maritime C4ISR

BAE Systems designs, develops, integrates and installs the U.S. Navy’s core Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting solution, the Distributed Common Ground System – Navy (DCGS-N), which provides robust processing and exploitation capabilities. Products and services on display will include the Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP) and the Artisan 3D radar.

Precision munitions and weapon systems

BAE Systems develops advanced weapon system technology and platform advancements to meet challenging mission requirements and provide a sea-based layer of defense for U.S. and allied security needs. The company is developing advanced directed-energy weapons including the Tactical Laser System, which couples with existing U.S. Navy gun mounts to provide extremely precise targeting and counter-material disabling effects. Products highlighted during the exposition will include the APKWS laser-guided rocket system, Standard Guided Projectile, Long Range Land Attack Projectile, Electromagnetic Railgun, AN/SQQ-32(V)4 mine hunting sonar system, Archerfish mine neutralizer, Mk 45 Mod 4, and other naval gun systems.
