Kairos Transmedia Announces the addition of two advisory board members; Ruth Smith Jackson, former President and CEO of JPMorgan Chase Securities Texas and Michael Lallinger, former President and CEO of Southwestern Bancshares

HOUSTON & LOS ANGELES--()--Kairos Transmedia, Inc. (KTI) today announced that it has appointed two new members to its advisory board including Ruth Smith Jackson, former President, CEO and Managing Director of JPMorgan Securities of Texas, and Michael Lallinger former President and CEO of Southwestern Bancshares.

“Ruth Smith Jackson had been an active KTI investor in our earlier stages and has been very helpful in getting us ready for our next steps. Ruth has extraordinary business expertise and real judgment/decision making insight regarding emerging technology. We are delighted that she is joining the Kairos advisory board. As a growth oriented company we are always balancing our need for capital and how we go about raising it; clearly Ruth is an amazing resource with 30 years of experience in securities and the broker/dealer industry,” said Bill Stuart, KTI chairman.

She received a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, and attended the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business Administration Public Finance Institute.

“I am honored to join the Kairos Transmedia board and work with this exceptionally talented group of individuals. The KTI team has assembled and grown a most impressive enterprise, gaining substantial traction with a large base of well-known ‘household name’ type of global customers,” Jackson said. “I believe Spillwall.com will be the leading Social Media for youth platform for decades to come, and look forward to sharing my experience and contributing to the future success of such a dynamic and emerging organization. It is significant that the company is dedicated to servicing the needs of youth in such an exploding industry, offering quality content and eliminating inequities for all children online."

Since 1986, Michael Lallinger has been the Founder and owner of Lallinger Investments; engaged in venture capital investments, stocks & bonds, in technology, real estate, and oil & gas. Prior to Lallinger Investments Michael served as the President and CEO of Southwestern Bancshares, a two bank holding company in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Lallinger received a Bachelor’s Business Administration and an MBA from University of Texas, Austin. He also received a Graduate School of Banking degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

“As we enter into new money raising activities we are grateful to have an astute venture capitalist and investor in our corner. Michael sees hundreds of deals and chose to invest in KTI months ago and re-invested again last month. He intuitively understands investing in early round ventures and also has kids in the space which makes him also uniquely qualified. Michael challenges us to be better while truly understanding that kids do come first,” said Bill Stuart CEO of KTI.

“After my initial investment and watching Kairos Transmedia’s progress, I was inspired to invest a second time as their latest offerings are completely innovative and unique, and most importantly are being readily accepted by major Entertainment companies. These companies use multiple KTI properties to communicate their messages, paying for advertising services and sponsoring youth activities,” Lallinger said.

Lallinger also stated, “I buy what I like and KTI products have become a staple around our household as my kids and even my wife enjoy The Magazine and my youngest son is a huge fan of Spillwall.com. As active parents, we are very concerned with the route many companies have taken under the guise of entertaining our youth and the KTI team is passionate about doing the right things by kids.”
