The Cambro-Ordovician Hales Formation hosts the mineralization, comprising shales, siltstones, sandy limestones and greenstones. During 2011, its exploration activities comprised drilling for aggregate 8,001 feet, geologic mapping and sampling. The company's Tonkin Complex is divided functionally into five areas, namely, the Mine Corridor, Patty, Tonkin North, Keystone, and Tweed.
