DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cambiar Investors announced today that it will close the Cambiar Small Cap Fund (CAMSX) to new investors as of the close of business on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Shares of the Fund may be purchased thereafter only by existing Fund shareholders, qualified retirement plans and fee- based advisory programs with centralized investment discretion that have selected the Fund as an investment option prior to the closing. Sales of Fund shares may be further restricted or re-opened in the future.
The Fund invests in small cap companies emphasizing, on what we feel are, quality companies that are attractively valued. “We are closing the Fund at this time because we believe doing so is in the best interest of shareholders,” said Nancy Wigton, Director of Marketing at Cambiar Investors. “The liquidity and market cap of the small cap companies in which the Fund invests constrains the capacity,” added Ms. Wigton.
