KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Scripps Networks Interactive has appointed Beth Lawrence Executive Vice President, Digital Ad Sales. Lawrence will be responsible for growing revenue streams for Scripps’ portfolio of lifestyle brands – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country (GAC) – and their respective web sites. In this role, Lawrence also will guide SNI’s ad sales relating to the Company’s mobile, broadband and video-on-demand offerings.
Lawrence joins SNI from The Weather Channel, where for the last three years she has led that network’s cable, web and mobile sales efforts as executive vice president/media solutions. At SNI, Lawrence will be based in New York and report to Steven J. Gigliotti, president, national advertising sales & marketing.

Beyond her tenure at The Weather Channel, Lawrence’s background includes seven years at Yahoo, where she rose to regional vice president of ad sales with responsibility for generating nearly $1 billion in annual revenue.
