IDT Wireless Power Solution Wins China Electronic Market Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award

IDT’s Innovative Wireless Power Transmitter and Receiver Recognized by Leading Chinese Publication as the Most Promising Power Management Product in 2012

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®) (NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced that it received China Electronic Market (CEM) magazine’s Editor’s Choice award for its innovative wireless power transmitter and receiver. The IDT solution was recognized as the most promising power management product in China for 2012 because it enables OEMs to overcome cost and size barriers for widespread deployment.

“It’s an honor to receive CEM’s Editor’s Choice award, which reinforces our leadership position in this market,” said Arman Naghavi, vice president and general manager of the Analog and Power Division at IDT. “With significant benefits in board size and cost, IDT’s fully Qi-certified wireless power transmitter is gaining strong traction with a wide range of electronics manufacturers around the world. Our wireless power receiver complements the transmitter with an industry-leading feature set, offering our customers an advanced and highly flexible solution.”

The IDTP9030 is the world’s most highly integrated single-chip wireless power transmitter available, integrating dozens of discrete components into a simplified, cost-effective, and highly efficient solution. With the IDTP9030, customers can develop World Power Consortium (WPC) Qi-compliant, proprietary, or multi-mode charging stations for deployment in a myriad of locations, including homes, offices, libraries, stores, public waiting areas, airports and airplanes.

The IDTP9020 high-efficiency single-chip wireless power receiver complements the IDTP9030 with “multi-mode” operation. It features built-in protocol detection and supports dynamic switching between Qi and proprietary modes, adding to the solution’s compelling value proposition.

In addition, IDT now offers the IDTP9035 and IDTP9036 wireless power transmitters, designed to meet the WPC Tx-A5, Tx-A6, and Tx-A11 configurations. These devices expand IDT’s portfolio of WPC Qi-compliant transmitters to address single-coil 5 V and three-coil 12 V applications.

IDT’s wireless power ICs are currently sampling to qualified customers. For more information about these products as well as other products in IDT’s wireless power portfolio, visit www.wirelesspowerbyidt.com.
