LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) announced today the election of 14 new members to its Board of Directors as part of its continuing charter to transform healthcare into systems that are team based, coordinated and accountable to patients.

- Catholic Health Initiatives (Englewood, CO) — Stephen V. Spare, M.D., president and chief medical officer of Franciscan Medical Group; James Slaggert, vice president of Physician Practice Management
- Empire Physicians Medical Group (Palm Desert) — Steven Dorfman, M.D., president; Yvonne Sonnenberg, executive director
- Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz County (Santa Cruz) — Marvin Labrie, CEO; Nancy Greenstreet, M.D., medical director
- Santa Clara County IPA (SCCIPA) (Foster City) — J. Kersten Kraft, M.D., board president; Randall Frakes, CEO
- Scripps Coastal Medical Center (Carlsbad) — Louis Hogrefe, M.D., chief medical officer; Tracy Chu, assistant vice president of operations
