HOLLYWOOD--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Talking Tom Cat and his fellow Talking Friends – whose apps top more than 600 million downloads worldwide – made their Hollywood debut in star-studded traffic-stopping style Thursday.
Dressed to the T in the most stylish threads, the wise-cracking Talking Tom, his stylish girlfriend Angela and tag-along rapping friend Ginger took to the stage for a fun-filled performance of the Talking Friends hit songs as well as holiday cheers. Superstars in their own right – with 600 million adoring fans around the globe; their YouTube single “You Get Me” viewed over 63 million times; a web series earlier this year earned more than 100 million views – Tom, Angela and Ginger sang, danced and played live for the first time. They also showed off the Talking Friends Superstars, new app-powered toys modeled after their famed virtual counterparts.
In addition to taking the stage in the heart of Tinseltown at Hollywood & Highland, the Talking Friends Superstars toured nearby iconic locations including the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman’s Chinese Theater. During the family-friendly performance, children danced along with the famed cats. In the week leading up to the event, an online voting contest at tfsuperstar.com/hollywood encouraged fans to choose what stylish fashions each of the cats should wear to Hollywood, garnering more than 1.6 million votes.
