NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) of New York City announces an exciting panel on Investing in Aerospace Entrepreneurship to be held at 5:30pm on November 29th at Holland & Knight, 31 West 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan.
In these difficult economic times, investors are evaluating all opportunities with an increasingly critical eye and are looking for new investment opportunities with long-term growth potential and near-term visibility. Aerospace and defense technologies represent a fertile area for investment, but have so far been targeted by a limited number of specialized investors.
“To fill this gap, the MIT Enterprise Forum is pleased to announce it will be hosting a thought provoking panel discussion on the sampling of the latest in aerospace technologies viewed through strategic and financial investment, governmental and technical prisms," said Stephen Tucker, one of the two Board Organizers for the MIT Enterprise Forum.
Dr. Laurence Vigeant-Langlois, Director, Business Development and Technology Partnerships at Sikorsky Innovations will be moderating this panel. Panelists will include: Stuart A. Auerbach, General Partner, Ampersand Capital Partners; Mark Cherry, President and COO, Aurora Flight Sciences; Courtney B. Graham, Associate General Counsel, NASA; Adam Harris, Vice President of Government Sales, SpaceX; and Don Thoma, President and CEO, Aireon LLC.
“We are very pleased to have assembled such a diverse group of thought leaders from organizations focused on a wide range of cutting edge aviation and space solutions," said Laurence Vigeant-Langlois, who is also a Board Organizer of the event. “Investors and entrepreneurs with an interest in the aerospace industry should not miss this timely networking and discussion opportunity,” she continues.
